Edict 28: Einstein's Theory of Relativity

 Matt: People will ask me to explain physics to them hat I don't understand that they think I do ie quantum mechanics "the theory of relativity breaks down at the quantum level"

[relativity does not work at the quantum level]

started to explain what relativity is, gave example:

"When your in a car and you stop why don't you go flying out the window?"

Michael: The car has weight

I have weight

I have a steering wheel

I have a seat belt

Matthew: You were right when you said the seat belt!"

Michael: What goes over 200 miles per hour yet itself is relatively stationary?

Matthew:?

Michael: A fly in an airplane

It was the earth.  The earth is going much faster then 200 miles per hours & yet it is relatively stationary.
