“Your life is like the morning fog—it’s here a little while, then it’s gone.” James 4:14

It is important to keep in mind not only that these issues exist but just how long they have existed for despite there being solutions.

Isaac Newton invented calculus and Einstein invented E=MC2. These men are widely considered to be profoundly important to the progress of humanity. No matter who says it E=MC2 is still correct. So whether it happened in his lifetime, or at some other point in time, someone would eventually discover it.  Fritz Hasenöhrl independent of Einstein, and around the same time, arrived at conclusions that were very similar to E=mc2.  The world population is approximately 8.1 billion as of 2024.  One is approximately 0.00000001235% of 8.1 billion. On the off chance that you’re contribution was actually so rare that no one else could’ve possibly done it for a long time, then it would still would have been discovered eventually, and quite possibly at a more opportunity time.  So you have effectively robbed someone else from achieving this glory and who is to say that they couldn’t have done much more than you ever would had they had this recognition.

But you and I aren’t celebrities. Let’s say we were successful at gaining the education and training required for top paying professions. For the rest of our lives, we would get much more wealth on a daily basis, compared to someone who wasn’t as fortunate. Moreover, the position that we attain is one less available career that someone else could’ve had.  Given the fact that the pay is greater in the position that we vie for, that niche will definitely be filled. And this would account for the majority of the time and effort we use every day.

But let’s say that you have instead decided to do something that is dangerous.  It could be argued that you’re actually saving someone else from having to be in danger by being in that position yourself.  Members of the military receive lifelong financial and social benefits.  This means that nearly every military member is more accurately called a mercenary rather than a soldier. So you would go out and end lives.  Your side would win because your group is larger and has more money.  And the people that you are fighting might be just as patriotic for their country.

After you get out of the military, you might consider yourself qualified for a position in law enforcement.  While your actual tasks may vary depending on special circumstances, you might be driving around in a police car all day long and give tickets to people who are speeding.  So you would be punishing poor people so much that they might not be able to afford rent while the same cost for a ticket would not penalize a rich person in even the slightest amount.

In the 1980’s the concept of Rettungsgasse was created.  It meant that if there is heavy traffic you should move your vehicle to the sides of the road in order to make room for any possible emergency vehicles that needed to drive through.  In the United States, this is not practiced even though it would most assuredly make everyone safer.  The point of stating this fact is to display proof that even if you somehow manage to have proof of a noteworthy contribution to society, the chances are very likely that you will be ignored in favor of the status quo.

When you want to purchase a new iPhone or console, there are often rules preventing people from buying more than one per customer.  In theory, this prevents a well off customer from buying large amounts to resell.  If this same logic were applied in the housing market, it could possibly make a dent in the seemingly infinite increase in the cost of owning and renting a home.  A maximum limit of owning two homes per person would enable people to live in homes without being forced to pay rent to someone who does very little for the massive monthly income.  Should someone desire to travel to a better climate during certain parts of the year then they could rent a second place.  It isn’t the fact that situations definitely have solutions which is concerning.  The real thing to take note of is that, no matter what your idea is, no one is listening.

Here is another fact to prove this point further.  97-99% of people who consider themselves Muslims were simply grown up and raised to believe that way by their families.  85-90% for Christians, 95-98% for Jews, and 98-99% for Hindus.  This is overwhelming proof that no one is having their viewpoint changed.

In Matthew 17, for example, we are taught that if you have faith the size of a mustard seed you will tell this mountain to move and it will happen and nothing will be impossible for you.  But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.  As of now, mid 2024, no human in the entire history of the earth has ever regrown a severed limb.  I assume that there have been Christian’s who fasted, prayed, and had an outstanding amount of faith that this would happen for them.  But it never has.  So long as you don’t take it too literally such words still inspire hope.

If you say “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” Then you will get murdered.

Despite this, it is noteworthy that in 2019, African Americans, comprising 13.4% of the U.S. population, were arrested for 53.3% of murders, 54.0% of robberies, and 33.7% of aggravated assaults.

If you say that the earth revolved around the sun, your book will be banned and you’ll spend the rest of your life on house arrest.

It used to be true that if you typed in The Tiananmen Square Massacre, anyone from China would be booted out of your game.  We didn’t even know what it was.  The massacre was protest in favor of democracy that took place in China but the only thing we notice was the famous photo of a man standing in front of a tank.  Despite the massacre taking place in 1989, information on it is still heavily suppressed in China.

If you condemn certain religious leaders and teachers of the law as blind guides who strain out a nat but swallow a camel, call them out for devouring widows houses and for a show making lengthy prayers; if you say to experts in the law woe onto you because you load people down with burdens they can hardly carry and you yourselves will not lift one finger to help them, they will bribe your follower to locate you, capture you at night, and hand you over to be brutally mutilated and tortured.  You will be made to drag a piece of wood weighing over a hundred pounds, and have various spikes driven directly through your flesh.  Although it causes tremendous pain to do this, you will lift yourself up by using your legs in order to draw in a single breath and be able to endure this anywhere from several hours up until even a few days.  Nearing the end of it you will scream “Father!  Father!  Why have you forsaken me?”

This is a list of the top 10 religious leaders of Christianity, Islam, and Judaism which includes their net worth and home value.  Not surprisingly, many do not have it publicly disclosed.  So it’s not just the values but that these people would also hide the amounts from the public.  I can only imagine why such devoutly religious leaders would refuse to reveal it.

The system does not always provide for those who contribute the most yet not exactly in a way that would make them wealthy.  If they were to receive 1 million dollars then they would be able to spend $50,000 a year for the next 20 years before you ran out and yet the planet supports and looks up to celebrities.   The average home value of the top 50 most successful celebrities in 2023 was approximately $39.64 million.  This is without calculating for investing it or earning any interest on it at all.

You might not even have a religion.  Here are the top 30 most popular celebrities net worth.  They are beloved, followed, worshiped and influential.  It might be claimed that their net worth might not be very important since they simply might be businessmen so I’ve included their home value.

The fact that Kim Kardashian is number 7 on this list, a person who is famous due to having a sex tape online, is proof of what is widely valued.  Kim ranks in as the 8th most followed person on instagram.  Selena Gomez and Adriana Grande both rank even higher.  They sing songs and are attractive.  Based on conservative estimates, Selena has donated 5.26% of her net-worth to charity while Adriana has donated 2.92%.  Kim comes in at having donated 0.59% of her net worth.

My late father was an orthopedic surgeon. He would work on police who drove a motorcycle and got into accidents.   For operating on them, he was given about half a dozen cards. These cards said “please extend the courtesy of this organization to” followed by where you would sign. In the event of a minor infraction, this card was shown to a police officer and then they would let you go.  So this is just one example of the type of group that you would be joining.  For those who are arrested, out of 10 cases (apples) a person with a public defendant loses an average of 1.6 apples compared to a private attorney.

Let’s explore other situations.  Let’s say that through stress, peer pressure, or simply because of social, spiritual, or financial situations, someone has decided to embrace drug use.  It is so against the law that they would be to lock them up when certain drugs, such as mushrooms, have an extremely low rate of lethality or abuse.  Psilocybin mushrooms are known for increasing openness, enhancing wellbeing, neurogenesis (helping your brain grow), enhanced creativity, helping to cure depression, anxiety, PTSD, and addiction.

So instead, you have decided to settle down with a wife or husband that is now unavailable for any other person to marry.  If their physical appearance played a role, such as everyone on tinder requiring a man to be six feet tall or men chasing after that nice spanish booty, then your devotion was gained through merit of them simply being born and perhaps hitting the gym.  What great thinker or scientist do you think was awesome enough to get to marry Leonardo DiCaprio for example?  He is married to a supermodel.

Even though we have a worldwide population density and growth problem, you have decided to have your own son or daughter instead of adopting and now feel fulfilled in life since you’re depended on by a helpless baby and you get to watch them grow.  Supposing you lived 78 years, taking care of them for a minimum of 18 years costs around $233,000 and amounts to 23.08% of your lifespan.  Instead of your resources being spent in pursuit of a passion or in the betterment of mankind, a very large portion Is instead given to your spawn.  It does not go to the nameless poet whose profound words have elevated the consciousness of others nor does it go to the street performer who endures the weather outside whose music regularly captivate an audience.  At the lowest estimate, an American has a one in three chance of experiencing homelessness if they have been in foster care.

The average age in the U.S is 38.  Jeff Bezos has a net worth of $210 billion dollars but he is 60 years old as of 2024.  Would you give up all of your physical wealth to be able to be 20 years younger?  If so, then you can consider yourself richer than he is since, chances are, your over 20 years younger then he is.

So you actually have decided to embrace a life of improving our system and making lives both fair and just.  Depending on the side you’re on, by voting you are saying that you stance is better than nearly half of the population.  And the other side is just as purpose driven and conscious towards the betterment of society as you are.  But it isn’t the outcome of two spirited, educated, and mature debaters which decides the outcome. Instead, what is right is what has the most votes.  And even that isn’t true.  Even though it is a national elections, if your area votes 60% one candidate while the other votes %40 for the other, then the electoral college throws away every persons vote on the losing side simply because your area has more population that voted the other way around where you live.

If we implemented If Not Then voting then you could vote for a third party candidate as your “if” vote.  Then, should they not have the votes to win, your vote would go to your “then” candidate instead of being thrown out.

By the way, we refer to a person as dead when their heart stops beating. Even if they have so little brain activity that they are referred to as a vegetable, we still consider them alive.  So before a heartbeat, it can simply be considered to be organic matter.  But we would rather have an all or nothing fight between well-meaning citizens for 50 years.  Even in the one in 1 billion chance that I have actually just solved it, this example is proof of the quality of a system that you feel justified as being worth your effort.

So you decided to compete.  In chess a computer can determine the best move better than any human being.  This was proven when Gary Kasparov, the best player at the time, played chess against Deep Blue back in the 90s.  In your body being made to physically move its muscles better than someone else, you have denied second place a first place trophy, third place a silver trophy, and fourth place a bronze trophy.
