A Reflection On King Solomon

Proverbs 3:11

My son, do not despise the LORD’s discipline,

    and do not resent his rebuke,

because the LORD disciplines those he loves,

    as a father the son he delights in.

What a great king with the profound blessing of wisdom that he was given through answering God asking him a question in a dream.  What do you want the most?  He didn't even chose wealth or riches.

Thank you, God, for giving me the wisdom to identify wisdom.  This display of Your love is most cherished.

I believe that this prayer in no way demonstrates the profound value of His love that I should have been cherishing.
