Concerning Elijah & Wisdom
I consider him waaaay beyond a normal prophet. The obviousness of this statement is what proves he is worth further investigation since we tend to forget things that are too good and forget things that are too bad.
Elijah
"How long will you go limping with two different opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him; but if Baal, then follow him."
"Cry aloud! Surely he is a god; either he is meditating, or he has wandered away, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he is asleep and must be awakened."
Elijah then orders them to seize the prophets of Baal, which they do, and Elijah brings them down to the River Kishon and slays them, at which the rains begin, signaling the end of the famine.
When Elijah ordered the seizing of the prophets of Baal,
Then Elijah commanded them, 'Seize the prophets of Baal. Don’t let anyone get away!' They seized them [indicates a forceful capture], and Elijah had them brought down to the Kishon Valley and slaughtered there.
I wonder how were they killed when they were slain?
