Concerning The Prophet Muhammad

I've heard from various sources that Muhammad was involved with a woman who was around 10 years old.  Jews were given into marriage only a slightly older age.  Therefore, this type of a relationship doesn't seem to indicate something perverted.  Rather it, more then likely, simply proves that this rumor of perversion, doesn't hold weight.  This is especially true since young children aren't even widely considered sexually active at that age except for cases of a more extreme nature.
