Moses' Option To Abandon Us

I recall a time when Moses was so overwhelmed, desperate, and passionate about having to deal with us.  The option was even presented to him by God (paraphrasing) "Leave them and I will make a nation out of you instead."  Emotions ran high but Moses decided to stay with us.
