A Reflection On King David

I recall him stating in the bible that he would kill his enemies even when they cried out to their most high at the hour of death.  I was reflecting on the helpless high pitched alarming sound that tends to be made when any creature is bothered.  But there was no escape from his enemies.  A deeper reflection on him shows that despite having no armor, he still was willing to stand up for us.  Thank you prophet Samuel for delivering word from God that he was chosen over Saul even though Saul had the physical appearance of being magnificent.
