Biblical Reflection

I was remarking about how wonderful the law is that states that we should leave the corner of our fields for the poor.  I'm reminded of Ruth, although I haven't factually verified it, she could be David's grandmother who eventually joined up with one of our twelve tribes.  Their would be a significant amount of terrible consequences that would be brought about by refusing to acknowledge just one commandment.
