My Imagination Regarding St. Peter

Can you imagine the heartbreak of hearing the rooster crow three times at the time when he rejected Jesus?  One of his absolute closest friends was struck all at once with a feeling that can only be described as "I killed Jesus."  And nearest to the end of his life "Please don't let me go the same way as my best friend.  I'm not worthy of it.  Crucify me upside down."
