The Glass Door
A friend of mine said that he went to a churches first of many classes program called The Glass Door. He says that for the longest time they used to be on television. He went to the first class and they taught “God hates you because you’re a sinner.” was how the class started
If I had been there, which I wasn’t, I would stand up right there and shout with hands over mouth to amplify my voice “IF ANYONE HAS LOVE FOR ME, IT IS GOD!!” I would have then packed up my belongings and had attempted to leave.
Aside comment to myself in my head as a scornful mocking:
I guess that’s why they call it the glass door, it goes nowhere…in fact, it should be called the glass ceiling since they must have eyes able to pierce through the mist to speak not only as a prophet but as if they were God themselves. I guess we don’t need Him anyway. After all, we have the glass door.
I would then largely ignore the responses of others unless someone made the accusation that the lesson planner had blasphemed. I would then perhaps make the comment on my say towards their fate “As God has told me, no one is to be put to death on my account. I abstain.” Simply as a side note towards my own casual opinion of the matter. Although I would still leave. Nevertheless, I wouldn’t wipe off the dust on my shoes as a testament against not being accepted due to the very real possibility that he is just trying to serve God in his own way. In short, and in my opinion [and should this happen in The Temple I believe it to have a margin of possibility that those of understanding could righteously accuse him of blasphemy and my own personal abstaining wouldn’t save them] it was simply due to ignorance and a subconscious mocking of God rather then something they were aware of.
