Concerning The Desire In South Korea To Build A Possible Subway Route Incase It Hasn't Been Done Already

I've just found out that there is a desire to build a subway in South Korea.  Incase this is old news, there is a story of someone who wanted to get his town access to what was on the other side of a mountain due to his dead wife.  He spent nearly his entire life tunneling through that mountain and succeed.  The town then had connection to the outside.
