In S1:E1 of the Netflix series "Welcome to Flint Town", Karen, running for mayor of the town of Flint, Michigan gives this speech:

Karen: I didn't, you didn't, we didn't work this hard to preside over the status quo.  *h=hear, hear*

crowd: yes, yes, yes

Karen: Let's be real. *She checks her notes thus indicating that, although her words were planned, she still has her heart in what her words are.* (h=I'm dwelling on her posture while her speech is being delivered.)

crowd: Yes!

Karen: If it's a continuation of business as usual, then this is a hollow victory. (h=thinking to myself, I guess if she says so it still counts as some sort of victory.)

crowd: yyyyeas

crowd: YYeeahhs!
