I previous failed psychology so badly in college that I didn't even pass a single psychology class and only took one introductory class

The professor asked me a question, although it was quite a significant time before now and so some information (such as their question) might be lost towards deeper questions regarding this subject

i thought at the time that the entirety of psychology

could be summed up simply through saying 

'psychology, that's just giving someone you love a gift in order to make them feel good.'

Mother of (main character): Is there some friends you want to invite over?

Rebecca Godfrey (actress Riley Keough): I don't talk to anyone from Victoria anymore.

Mother: Well I don't know why not (stated as a complaint)

Rebecca Godfrey: *chewing something* everyone here thinks I'm an asshole

Mother: They do not, you made that up in your mind.

It can also help you to understand how brains have a healthy structure towards longings.
