The Light Of Eärendil

Do you recall how King David was told by The LORD that he had too much bloodlust to be worthy of building the temple?  God still told him that He was willing to give his son Solomon the task and that King Solomon would be guaranteed to have rest on all sides in order that the construction of The Temple could be accomplished.      

I give you the light of Eärendil, our most beloved star.  May it be a light for you in dark places, when all other lights go out.
