The Police Are There For Us But We Only See Them When There Sirens Are On

Police fucking rock.  They, although I'm new to learn this, actually consciously think to themselves "Today could be the day that I get shot, oh well."  They call Superman the man of steel but those of this type have balls of steel.  We as average citizens say "Where do we turn?  Hey, this guy is driving crazy!  Hey, I think my neighbor is acting up again, I've heard a very loud commotion next door".  And there reply, although I can't definitively say that they are all heroes, is "Ok, we'll do a wellness check."  Our boys in blue just can't get respect though.  Some of us like to practice lawlessness and embrace the breaking of laws that are of a grey area and then there is a distance.  These very two groups who are practically designed to be thick as thieves now have a distance over everything from small crimes to large crimes.  We can take solace in the fact that some of those amongst this group are heroes even though most of us will never know which ones they are.
