Concerning A Possible Trans-National Project

I see the vast emptiness of the Sahara Desert, so long as the solar power grid can be built in safety and with multiple governments choosing to agree to work on the project then we could have room for the largest solar power station on earth that has ever been created. This is not a small project and requires large areas of uninhabitable desert lands to be converted into solar farms. From there it should power whatever each country decides that their portion of the funding is to be used for it. This is a worldwide free energy project requiring massive investment into what could be viewed as only a very little pay off for countries, whoever should so choose not to play a big part will also be able to command less of this extremely clean energy for their citizens, countries, and peoples. It sounds like a project that those in Africa could finally rally around. Shalom.
